kids yoga (from 2 years - teens)
A wonderful combination of physical activity, yoga postures, imagination, mindfulness and relaxation, the Yoga provides many physical and emotional benefits for children, including:
flexibility, balance and strength
fine motor development and co-ordination
calming and self regulation
focus / concentration
memory and creativity
a safe space to just be - away from media distractions etc, appreciation of self and the world around them, balancing left and right sides of brain
The wonderful Sarah Horton, drama and kids yoga teacher and mum, is currently available for private Kids Yoga & Teens Yoga sessions. Sarah came to Karma Birth Pregnancy & Birth Yoga, Baby Massage and Postnatal Yoga with both her girls, and I am delighted to be working with Sarah to offer you kids yoga - Pippa
Private Classes are held at our Bedfordshire studio (and in some cases, your home)

As a drama teacher I love working with children and teenagers, and helping them to embrace their imagination and creativity. I've seen first hand how action packed and sometimes stressful children's lives can be and I believe a little space for calm can work wonders to encourage creativity and the self-esteem to let their imagination fly!
I love yoga, and have been practising myself for 8 years and I relish the sense of peace it brings to my own life.
Having been to mum and baby classes with Pippa I know how beneficial this feeling is for children too, I am excited to offer these classes so that children can experience some peace and calm, along with some fun!
